12/4/2014  · The Sachs OEM front shocks are oil dampers btw and a bit wobbly, the rear Sachs standard are gas though. Bilstein seem to be a good compromise between Koni and OEM, heard a lot of praise for them. B6 are a little stiffer than standard and offer great control (and are not too expensive).

4/2/2009  · On smooth roads the Konis were great, and they exhibited much less body roll than the Sachs. The coach handled better and driving was less stressful due to the lack of sway. However, when the road got really rough with potholes, highway expansion strips, or any sharp bump, we noticed the Konis were considerably harsher than the original Sachs shocks.

10/8/2012  · I’ve recently gotten some Koni STR.T Orange shocks installed on my 2000 Civic EX coupe. I reused the OEM springs, so I thought it would make for a very scientific and unbiased review since the only variable being changed is the shocks. I got my shocks changed at around 147,400 miles. I was on the OEM shocks and they were so bouncy and worn out.

The Konis in my opinion are better than the stock Sachs shocks that were fitted on the BMW 330ci when new. I am thinking about putting these Konis on all my cars when they are due for replacement. Autoanything had these at a great price especially when offered with a discount (10-15% off)and FREE SHIPPING and great customer service as well!, 5/4/2015  · If you’re looking to an alternative to OEM shocks but don’t want to spend gobs of money on something that does the exact same thing, look into the Koni STR.T ‘s. They are VERY affordable at $425, give the car a more solid feel, and they come with a lifetime warranty.

The Advantage dampers also have the short shock body as opposed to the standard length body of the Koni FSD/Special Active, making them a better fit than you might.

3/8/2012  · I am looking to order shocks for my 2011 Brembo GT. I would like to take advantage of the Koni sale right now. I am trying to decide between the value of the STR.T vs . the adjustability of the Sports. I would like to keep some fine tuning in it as I would like to autocross while still retaining the ability for weekend drag duty.
